YOUTH PROGRAMMING
Aurora, despite being Colorado’s most diverse city, lacks youth programs found in nearby Denver—largely due to the impact of redlining and gentrification. This leaves many young people without access to safe, structured activities. Compound of Compassion is addressing this gap by offering tailored programs aligned with the Youth Thrive Framework, which supports youth through research-based strategies and promotes long-term well-being. This framework, focused on building Promotive Factors, highlights the power of supportive relationships and services during adolescence.

GENERATION DRIVE-THRU
Compound of Compassion serves as a vital link between generations
in Aurora. Through events and initiatives, we facilitate opportunities
for youth and elders to forge meaningful socia I bonds and provide
mutual support. By nurturing intergenerational relationships, we
foster a community of healing and support that enriches both
younger and older generations.
